After a crazy snow filled weekend (April 19/20) the U14 Pinnacles beat their Kelowna nemesis 5-1 at KIngs Park on Sunday April 27. The previous weekend the team was to play a touring team from Calgary, but the snow delayed the precedings. However, when the game did happen, a day later than scheduled, the Penticton girls were in tough as Calgary controlled the play and won 5-0.
The resiliency of the U14 girls came out this past weekend as they dominated Kelowna scoring in the first 5 minutes and were relentless in their attack. Amanda Chizzy and Zoe Fraser each scored a pair and Gabriel Levesque added a single. The midfield was again strong due to the effort of Bryanne Francisco, Crystal Schuder, Yolanda Hector, & Nikita Afonso; Anne Theilmann was in net for the win. The team remains undefeated in league play with 2 wins and a tie.

I am looking for the dates for try outs for the U14 Girls. My daughter Veronika is 14 and we have just moved to Summerland and area. Veronika is in school with a girl I think her name is Anika who said that the older try out are right away and that we should contact the soccer association to find out when they would be for Veronika’s age group born 1994.
Thannk you for your help,
Colleen
