U13 Girls - Pinnacles vs. Vernon evenly matched

The Penticton girls U13 Pinnacles played a very close game with Vernon.  The two teams were evenly matched.  The Pinnacles were stronger in the first half of the game.  Steffi Caron and Joelle Smyth played outstanding in the midfield.  Late in the second half Penticton got an unlucky break – Vernon was awarded a free kick just outside of the box.  The shot floated high and then dropped just below the bar to give Vernon the victory.  Great playing by Kari-Grace Pim and good job in net by Megan.
