Pinnacles burned

The SOYSA U15 Pinnacle girls soccer team lost to the Kamloops Blaze 1-0. The teams began the game evenly matched, but Kamloops scored first midway through the first half.  The Pinnacles come out strong in the second half led by forwards Zoe Fraser and Nikita Afonso and midfielders Crystal Schuder, Natalie Webb and Megan Sociedade that kept the majority of play in the opponents end.  Unfortunately, the Pinnacles weren’t able to capitalize on a penalty kick. Anne Theilmann played a steady game in net. The Pinnacles next league game is on Sunday against Kelowna No.1 at Kings Park.
