Penticton U18 Ladies Draw with top team

 

The penticton P1 ladies drew with the top seeded Summerland 1 team on saturday in a physical and gutsy game. The highlight was a penalty kick save by Brianne the penticton keeper. She cleared the kick just before it went under the crossbar. The ladies showed shear grit and determination to keep the slate clean. They were only playing with one sub and numerous injuries and while under immense pressure from the well subbed summerland team they showed the determination and desire that has been their trademark all season. One more league game to play and it will be playoff time.

 

The ladies have played smart and hard all year and have earned a lot of respect for one of the best defenses in the league.

 

Well done ladies and definitely worth the slushies at the end of the game.
