U14 Pinnacle Girls Win Again

Pinnacle U14 Girls team won again on Sunday, beating Vernon 2-0 at King’s Park. Zoe Fraser continues to lead the way in scoring as she netted the first goal and as it turned out the game winner. Bryanne Francisco scored the insurance goal and continued to dominate the middle of the field. Anne Thielmann recorded the shutout in net. The team has shown tremendous depth this year as all 18 girls contribute quality minutes.

In additon, the team is blessed with tenacious speedsters who quietly go about their game, keeping the opposition off balance. This includes players like Melanie Girard, Gabby Levesque and Shayna Lawrie. Next game is June 1 in Summerland versus Kamloops. Their current record is 3-1-1 which sees them in 2nd place in their league standings.
